Final Project Storybook

I decided to manipulate my photos from a hike I took to Camel's Hump this year. The photos do a better job of describing the phenomenal views once you reach the summit. There are also many neat things along the way. Enjoy!

Week 13 Homework

The kids were no where to be found so these are portrait photos of two fun colleagues and a couple of Boo Boo (my cat). Of course I have taken pictures of family, friends, etc. before, but it seemed strange asking to take someone's picture. Portrait photography is something I could get used to and have a lot of fun with. The only difficulty I found about taking Boo Boo's photo was keeping him still.

Week 10

These are my 2 text photos. I practiced with the watermark text and I did try to add the copyright symbol and am not sure why that did not work.

Week 10

I used the clone stamp tool and cloned the 3 leaves that are together. When you keep clicking it does appear darker, but it also takes away from the original unless I did something wrong. I do like how these came out; it kind of looks like reflections.

Week 9

I used the Dodge and Burn tool to darken everything around the pumpkin and make it stand out more.

Week 9

These are my filter manipulations. In the first one I used the radial blur zoom. It did come out darker than I wanted but I think it gives a nice affect. The second photo I used the sharpen tool with 120, 1 pixel, and 3 threshold.

Week 8 Homework

For the first photo I used the magic wand to select the sky and used the color fill to make it blue. Then using levels, manually adjusted color to brighten the photo a little. I used the same tools to change the sky in the second photo and used the saturation and lightness adjustments to brighten the colors.
